Our knowledgeable staff can assist you with virtually all your needs in metal fabrication. Our cutting machines can be customized to fit most requirements. Our welding and positioning equipment are made to accept work pieces of any size during the welding operation. We have a complete facility incorporating the latest technologies to manufacture engineered heavy duty equipment for maximum rigidity, stiffness, and long life. Our Engineering team consists of 15 individuals, 12 Service Technicians, and eight Business Unit Representatives that have well over 200 years combined experience. Our shop personnel have on average 25 years of experience each.

Manufacturing
Koike Aronson, Inc./Ransome is located in Arcade, New York in a 137,000 square foot facility. The Manufacturing area consists of a machine shop, saw shop, two assembly shops, a burn shop, a weld shop, and three paint booths. By creating and maintaining all of these areas, we add great value to our company because very little outsourcing is used. Within the past few years, several pieces of machinery have been updated to state-of-the-art equipment and multiple expansions have been completed to improve manufacturing abilities and efficiency. Our factory has also utilized the 5S which is a lean tool directive used by businesses to be more productive through tidiness and improved organized practices.
The factory’s capacity can run three shifts with approximately 100 employees per shift. We can machine anything from a tiny nut to a large weldment for a million pound welding positioner, and most importantly we use our own products to build every one of our customers’ products.
Beginning in 2006 Koike’s first building expansion was started. The 11,250 square foot expansion was built on the west side of the existing building which cost $2.8 million including new equipment, such as the Sachman Rambaudi, two 25 ton cranes, and a 20’x16’ paint booth. This expansion was created for the manufacturing of our 50,000 lbs. (and under) welding positioners.
Our most recent additions was the expansion on the west end of the plant along with our well known Demo Room, placed within our existing building; all was completed in 2008.
The manufacturing of our Laser cutting machine/Down Draft Table/Water Table, and other cutting machines were the main reasons for this $1.4 million 20,000 square foot expansion. Included in this expansion are two 30 ton cranes, a Truck Pit, and the Electrical Shop was moved into this area with a mezzanine for electrical components.

Engineering
The Engineering Department is comprised of Mechanical, Electrical and Software Engineers with over 250 years of combined design, process and technical experience. This experience provides the ability to apply proven designs to customer needs and to develop new technology for custom applications. AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Cosmos software are used to optimize designs for standard products and create custom solutions for specialized equipment. Our electrical and mechanical systems are designed to industrial standards for strength, reliability and safety.

Koike Aronson/ Ransome has eight Business Unit Representatives and four Customer Service Representatives with well over 70 years of combined experience. We have over 500 Distributors and 11 Manufacturer Sales Companies ready and able to assist you with not just quality products but the right product for your needs. In May of 2008, the new Demo Room was completed; a 4,200 square foot area that consists of numerous pieces of equipment to be used for training purposes and customer demos. Lastly, Koike’s Field Service Department consists of 12 dedicated individuals and 10 independent certified technicians working as a team to keep over 30,000 machines running at top performance. Starting with sending out pre-installation documentation to assist our customers before the machine is delivered to installation and training, we never leave a customer site without a machine functioning properly. We use original documentation stored in our computer system to aid in the determination of required replacement parts for machines that have seen years of service in the field, and the assistance is just a phone call away. A new feature is our KAR Club portion of the Koike website, which is offered to all of our machine users. This section offers thousands of tips on troubleshooting, tuning your machine and general maintenance. This is available 24 hours a day.
Additional training and emergency repairs are also available for machine issues that can not be resolved over the telephone. The technical phone support is not only free during the warranty time frame, but for the entire life of the machine. The phone support is handled directly by Koike Field Service Technicians, not a call center.
